Circle City Stencilers was founded in 1995 after several central Indiana SALI
members met at the Chicago convention. These members returned home and formed
a local chapter. In 2006, that chapter was dissolved.
In 2007, several former CCS members combined to found a new organization, Circle City Stencilers & Artisans, to fill the void. A new mission statement was adopted to reflect the goals of the new group.
Circle City Stencilers & Artisans is a group of artists dedicated to teach, encourage, and inspire its members to promote and share the art of stenciling, mural painting, trompe l'oeil, faux finishing, and other related decorative arts.
